I know, posting has been really sparse as of late. I have two good reasons: Doug was gone on a business trip for two weeks, and that left very little time to myself. But much more so, Jacob has been sick for over a month now. He's got some intestinal-related problem that is just not clearing up, and has rendered him with (ultrasound) visible damage to his small intestine, anemic, and with general signs of malabsorption. He's lost weight, he's very irritable and angry all the time, he's got ulcers on his tongue, and he has motoric problems -- tripping over nothing, falling over out of a stand, and he's started to crawl again which really creeps me a bit.
We've been to multiple doctors, put him on a diet without gluten, but to no avail.
So he's being medivac'ed out tomorrow morning. We're going to Germany and we are hoping for the best. Keep your fingers crossed!
Good luck, and hopefully he will be fixed soon!

Best wishes for all of you. Hope they figure out what is wrong with Jacob and make him better. Will be thinking of you.

Poor little guy, and poor mom and dad. I hope they are able to solve the problem quickly. Best wishes.

I'm thinking good intestinal thoughts in Jacob's direction. Allison flatly said that Jacob will be fine, so he can come to visit next month. She wants to see him walking, since she is still dubious that he's not a baby anymore. And we all know that your boys must obey the princess...
