I can't sleep.
Because I'm packing. No, not literally packing. But, in my mind, I'm putting our house into boxes. We are leaving sometime in March 2008 (the boys and I probably a week or two before Doug), this is final now. And again we are beginning the long process of saying good-bye, of severing ties, of letting go.
We'll miss this house terribly. It suits us well, as much as we've been cursing for more storage space or that the heating system is unreliable. It's charming, and has lots of lovely features. It has three bedrooms and a study which is great. Who knows what's coming next!
Speaking of uncertainty. While I've been lying awake, I realized that we have to pack up the house for various different scenarios. One scenario means we are going to leave winter clothes in a storage somewhere, so we must pack clothes boxes according to seasons. Another includes the boys and I living apart from Doug for a year or so; but we don't know where and most likely, it would mean to put lots of our things into storage (but different things than under scenario II!). Yet another scenario will have us sell our car and most of our stuff to get as lightweight as possible...
And I need to get a stupid certificate for our carpet.
But you're not in Yerevan anymore... :-)

Hi there,
We are moving to Yerevan later this year. I am keen to find out if there is a nursery/pre-school/playgroup there for our daughter who will be 2 years old in August. I thought, as you have several children you might just know of one. I imagine an english speaking one would suit best as she is currenlty learning to talk, but I'm open to ideas.
Kind regards,
Elaine
