We are bad parents. We didn't get the pumpkin this year. I don't know, we just delayed getting it, and they are not on every street corner, so we had to go specifically to get one, and somehow we ended up getting that tire fixed that had a giant metal thing stuck in it from the construction in our street, and then we went grocery shopping but there were no pumpkins and then we were tired... so, we have no pumpkin. Alas.
We did take the kids Trick-or-Treating, though. The US Embassy arranged a little event and the kids loved it oh, so much. Even without the pumkin in front of our house.
I had three Ninjas and one Fairy-Princess. Everybody loved the three Ninjas and they ran around a lot, and in the end there was pizza and popcorn at the Marine House and I somehow never saw my two oldest kids. That's why there are no pictures of them.
So here just two images of two kids loving themselves some Halloween:
In other news, the kids and I will leave Moldova in four weeks. That's awfully fast and very near, and we are sad because we really liked it here and if only USAID... But that didn't happen, so here we are. We'll go to Germany and wait for the next best thing. Whatever that may be. The good: Advent and Christmas in our house, with the wood-burning stove! The kids are consumed by the idea of snow and I hope there will be snow, otherwise they will be crushed.
I hear it snowed all along the East Coast. Fancy that.
